Company Bio
Joey & Connie Jemison, Weatherford, TX.

“We learned a long time ago that in the custom saddle business, it’s easier to explain higher prices up front than to have to make excuses for poor quality later on.”

Joey takes pride in his claim to over 38 years of experience in hand-crafting custom saddles for some of the most famous names in the cutting horse industry today.  He started his career in 1970 at L. White’s Saddle Shop in the Fort Worth Stock Yards and worked with such legendary saddle makers as George Murray and Eddie Brooks. In 1989 Joey started Jemison Enterprises, Inc.

For over 12 years Joey has handmade his trees for each order so that his saddles have a custom fit for you and your horse.  He has a reputation for paying very close attention, to each and ever detail that goes into the  making of your saddle.

Connie, has enjoyed working with 2yr old horses for the past 20 years.  She loves to watch the progress of a colt learning how to handle different situations.  In that time Connie has also taught at a Junior College in Oklahoma, and has worked as a cad designer for Lands’ End.  Recently, Connie has met and married the man of her dreams.  Joey and Connie were wed in Maui this past  June.  Since then Connie has decided to put training on the back burner for a while, and bought a laser engraver.  She now works side by side with her husband, both compliment one another very well.  Together they are coming up with great ideas all of the time.
